I started CrossFit in 2014 because my high school football coach used it as part of our strength and conditioning program. I fell in love with learning the clean and the snatch. After playing football, I wanted to continue learning the Olympic lifts, so naturally joining a CrossFit box was the next step. It wasn’t until I got to Liberty University and made friends who were coaches at their local boxes that I wanted to pursue coaching CrossFit. I got my CF-L1 in 2017 and started coaching at CrossFit Lynchburg in 2018. I fell in love with not only the competitive aspect of CrossFit but also the community of people that I was surrounded by.
